Hi, we are the Locks! We have been married for almost 13 years and have been blessed with a son, Hunter, and three daughters, Grace, Sadie and Eve. Colton has been a firefighter for 14 years a small business owner, and I am a homeschooling stay at home mom. Both of us came to know Christ as children, but early in our marriage there was a season of drifting away from Christ and toward the distractions of this world. That almost brought our marriage to an early end, but through God’s power, grace and mercy He brought us through and changed our hearts forever. Since that season, we have taken several big leaps of faith as we desire to follow God’s plan for our lives and He has always proven faithful! We moved from Georgia to Missouri without jobs and God provided. We joined Grace Place in Lamar, MO and over the last 9 years we have grown under the systematic, deep teaching of Scripture and we have learned what it truly means to be part of a Biblical New Testament church body.

God began putting a burden for the orphans and widows several years ago when His Little Feet visited our church. That organization and it’s founders do an amazing job of raising awareness of the plight of orphans and impoverished children at risk of being exploited. At the time, we still thought that God wanted us to help by just growing our small business and sending money to other peoples’ organizations while staying in our comfortable home-town bubble. Little did we understand what God was really leading us toward! Our more direct call to foreign missions began after a short term mission trip to South Asia in 2018. Colton came home from that trip with a burden for the lost and a drive to see the name of Jesus praised by every nation and people. I was hesitant at first to say the least, but God has done much work on my heart since then. We know that God is leading our family to take another giant leap of faith, so here we go! In 2019, we were able to go back to South Asia together. God used that trip in a mighty way and God continues to give us more of His heart for His children all over the world, those who know Him and those who have never yet heard.
